Several Rebel Honor guards were utilized in the Great Temple of Massassi on Yavin IV and could be seen during the Royal Awards Ceremony at the rebel base after the Battle of Yavin.
Another uniform of the rebel guard was mainly used in the heat of battle, in which soldiers in the honor guard wore an uniform similar to the Rebel Commando, but had blue markings across the chest. The standard uniform of the Honor Guard was the one seen most notably on the rebel base on Yavin IV, in which most Rebel Honor Guards wore a brown uniform with an helmet similar to the standard Rebel trooper.
However, while on guard duty, Rebel Guards usually only used Electropoles, as seen used by guards on Yavin IV.
In battle, Rebel Honor Guards utilized an DH-17 blaster pistol in combat and, in some cases, were seen using Smart Rockets and A280C Blaster Rifles.
